  • How much do wedding dress alterations cost?     

    • The cost of wedding gown alterations varies based on the gown construction and each client's unique needs.    Generally, the cost of wedding gown alterations is between $600 - 700 depending on the required work.  I will work with you to find solutions that fit your budget.   For the most accurate estimate, please book an appointment.  

  • How far in advance of my wedding do I  need to book my appointment for wedding gown alterations?  

    • It is best to book your wedding dress alterations as soon as your dress is ordered.  Please schedule  your appointment about 3 months before your wedding date.   If you have a special circumstance, please let me know and we will discuss. setting the best plan for you.    

    • Follow up appointments and the final try on / take home appointment will be made together during your first appointment.  ​

    • I take pride in providing individual attention and high quality work.  Therefore,   I limit the number of brides during each year.    Please plan ahead -  booking your appointment early reserves sewing hours in my work plan  for you. ​

  • What do I need to bring with me to my wedding dress alterations appointment? 

    • It is extremely important to bring the shoes and shape wear that you plan on wearing with the gown. ​

  • Can I bring guests?  

    • My shop is small.  You may bring one guest to your appointment.   

  • What is the alteration process?   ​

    • A one hour initial fitting appointment is held roughly 3 months before the wedding depending on your garment type.  During this appointment, we'll review your gown and collaborate on fit and your ideas on making the gown truly your own.  .   

    • Follow up appointments will be made during your first visit.  During a follow up appointment , we will check preparations for alterations and get your approval before finalizing the alterations.  The last appointment is the try on / take home appointments, which is scheduled at least 2 weeks prior to your wedding.
